When creating a resized/recompressed thumbnail image from a CMYK JPEG image in the Java version of the Image Uploader, the image comes out very blocky and pixelated. This however is not the case in the ActiveX version of the uploader. Will this be fixed in the Java version soon?

App Settings
-jpeg quality: 85
-resize quality: high (tried medium as well)
-fitmode: width
-width: 550

I am using the trial version of Image Uploader, here are the specifics:
-version: 2.1.60.0
-browser: Firefox 2.0.0.4
-operating system: windows xp professional sp2

This can be replicated with the attached image.

Hello,

By the way, Image Uploader does not support CMYK images at all. It uses the standard JAVA image processing libraries, where is no CMYK support. Sometimes RGB EXIF thumbnail could be found in CMYK JPEG files so you could think the CMYK support is partial. No, there is no CMYK support at all.
Sincerely yours,
Alex Makhov
