My problem is this:

Say a user opens the webpage with the activex image uploader, but he does not have it installed, the IE info bar appears at browser top. The info bar 'Click here to install ActiveX' also appears at the top of the box where the ActiveX component would normally appear. In this particular case, is there a way to set an image or a background image that provides direction on ActiveX uploader installation just below the ActiveX box info bar?

See attachment for details.

Thanks,

Sam Dupont

Hello Sam,

You can use instructionsCommon property of ImageUploaderWriter object to define it.

Please see Configuring Alternative Text for Control for more info.
