Hi, when I open a Xvid compressed file with avi processor it opens right , I mean I can get information about it, total frames, compressor width, height ... But when I try to see or get a frame, this message apears: "Cannot decompress AVI file content. Install corresponding compressor", and I have the Xvid codec installed in my system , I can play it with a player and with a simple Visual Basic code, and when I list all compressors using Avi processor Xvid appears in the list. No problem with the rest of compressed avi formats that Ive tried. What Happens? thanks

AVI Processor is Video for Windows-based (VfW) application. It requires VfW codecs. Most likely you have only DirectX codecs (no modern players use Video for Windows API anymore, they use DirectShow instead).
