On our site, we are going to be offering our users the ability to upload photoshop and Tiff files. Internally for space reasons, we convert all files internally to Jpegs.

#1 - As Tiff and PSD files have built in color spaces, what happeans when saving as a JPEG?

#2 - Are 16bit files handled? Cannot find yes/no in the helpfiles.

Hello Tom,

Graphics Mill supports only grayscale, RGB, and CMYK color spaces. JPEG can be saved to all of these color spaces. If you try to load PSD file saved say in Lab, Graphics Mill won't accept it.

No, unfortunately Graphics Mill does not support extended pixel formats (16 bit per channel). However in the next version it will be supported though.
