Uploaded files not found. Images seem to upload but actually don't.

Hi: I am using ImageUploader 4.1 (Dual) on a Windows® machine. The image upload seems to work fine (I receive the pop-up message that the File Upload has completed successfully). However, in reality the images do not upload. I have tried uploading them both to the local host (development machine) as well as on the web server. The result is the same both ways. The image upload status bar goes all the way to the end showing the upload progress/completion, I get a pop-up box at the end saying that the file upload has completed, but when I go to search for them on the hard drive or on the server, I cannot find the uploaded images. All folder permissions are set to allow the writing of images. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Mona.
