Java uploader v4 regression with resizing

When testing Java uploader resizing with Windows/Firefox...
1. add 13 files, 11 of which are audio and other file types; 2 are images that can be resized. 2. a resizing option is selected. 3. send
expected results: all 13 files are sent to the server, but 11 would be invalid (corrupted since they were resized). this is what the previous Java uploader did.
actual results: Firefox hangs before sending any of the files.
best fix: resize files that can be resized and don't resize those that can't. send all files to the server. currently there is no option for this (i.e. sendsourcefiles if file can't be resized).
for now, we would be happy with the expected results which is what the prior version of the Java uploader did (prior to v4).

Hello Philip,
We have tried to reproduce your problem but the last version of Image Uploader works fine: it uploads all the files. If it is unable to make a thumbnail for a file it creates a thumbnail which contains the system icon of this particular type of file. So if the thumbnail generation is turned on the system icon for the unknown format will be sent.
What version of Image Uploader for Java do you use? |
