Hi, I wish to purchase a IU for subdomain, for example: uk.mydomain.com How to do that? according to the user manuar: Quote:License key is generated for a full-qualified domain name, i.e. it works neither with other domains associated with the same site nor with any subdomains of this domain. The only exception is the www subdomain. In other words, if you generate a license key for the yoursite.com domain, it will not be valid for subdomain.yoursite.com, but will be valid for www.yoursite.com.

Hello, Quote:janetsmith (8/23/2006)Hi, I wish to purchase a IU for subdomain, for example: uk.mydomain.com How to do that? according to the user manuar: Quote:License key is generated for a full-qualified domain name, i.e. it works neither with other domains associated with the same site nor with any subdomains of this domain. The only exception is the www subdomain. In other words, if you generate a license key for the yoursite.com domain, it will not be valid for subdomain.yoursite.com, but will be valid for www.yoursite.com. This license restriction means that license key works for exact domain, but not for entire domain tree. So way it means that mydomain.com and uk.mydomain.com require different license key, at that time as mydomain.com and www.mydomain.com work with the same license key. The same way uk.mydomain.com and www.uk.mydomain.com work with the same license key. So way you should just purchase license key for uk.mydomain.com. |
Best regards, Fedor Skvortsov
