When some of our users upload some images, the images get uploaded with verticals black borders. This happens only with the first small thumbnail version (120 px), the second thumbnail (450px) uploads properly.

Is there is any specific reason why this is happening? Can this be fixed?

Hello,

We had this issue in Image Uploader 3.5. The reason is in the wrong EXIF thumbnail aspect ratio. For example is the image width/height ratio is 4/3 then thumbnail ratio has to be the same but some cameras are making EXIF thumbnail with another aspect ratio than the original image. So you could post some problem images and we would check them.

Hello,

We have been working on the same issue with both Image Uploaders (ActiveX and Java). Please post just one of the problem images and we will check if the problem is still there. If it is we will fix it.

Alex,

I have been trying to attach the image that is producing the black borders, but the system is not allowing me to do it because the images 2.70 MB, can you increase the size allow, so I can send it to you.
