Hi,
I am using graphics mill object for doing the resizing, after resizing and saving the image, metadata is missing. there is metadata in the source file. Is there is any way to preserve the IPTC metadata from source file when resizing an image

All metadata is lost because when you save the bitmap to disk, you create a file from a scratch. It does not know anything about metadata in the original file. So this is by design.
There is no way to preserve IPTC/EXIF data in ActiveX version. However .NET version of Graphics Mill can read not only bitmap, but also IPTC and EXIF. Therefore you can load it with bitmap and put to the output file.
