I have installed Google Chrome yesterday. It is first release and it seems they just don't support Java applets at all. Sure they will it in the nearest future as well all info about plugins will be available. We will definitely support Google Chrome in future as soon as it will be possible.

I have got Java applet to run (screenshot 1). Google Chrome supports standard Netscape Plugin Application Programming Interface (NPAPI):

http://www.google.com/chrome/in...masters-faq.html#activex

So I just copied Java plugin from Safari plugins folder (C:\Program Files\Safari\Plugins) to Google Chrome plugins folder (C:\Users\username1\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\Plugins) and then I could run the applet. I copied not just plugin dll file (npJavaPlugin.dll), but and some other files (screenshot 2) from Safari folder.

It seems Image Uploader Java applet works perfectly in Google Chrome as well as in recent Apple Safari for Windows (screenshot 3). Both of these browsers share the same WebKit engine.

I don't expect any problem with Image Uploader Java applet in future as soon as Google Chrome will support Java plugin by default (the same way as Firefox and Safari do).

Here is official info about Java support in Google Chrome:

http://www.google.com/su...ava&topic=&type=

Here is info from Google Chrome help page:

Quote:
Many websites use the Java plug-in. Google Chrome requires Java version 6, update 10. Please note that this is currently a beta version and may be more unstable than some previous version of Java. To download this beta version of Java, visit http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/ea.jsp
