Hi We are building a new central CMS system on one apache webserver. Now we want to use the Aurigma Image Uploader for our clients to upload images to their domains. Is it possible to set the upload-path to another domain within the same server using the direct-path or a FTP connection? Or are there other options to do this? Our server runs on Plesk 8.2 and all the domains are on the same server. Thanks in advance! Edited by user Tuesday, April 15, 2008 6:43:55 AM(UTC)

Hello! Since version 5.0 Image Uploader domain license allows to upload only to the same domain where control is hosted. Thus in you case you should have domain licenses for all your domains. If all your domains are hosted on the same server and have the same IP address, then you can use IP license. If it does not suit you please contact us at sales@aurigma.com. |

Thanks for your reply.
We were indeed thinking of an IP-based license.
But is it possible to use the Image Uploader on 1 domain to upload files to other domains? Or do we have to install the uploader to all the domains on the server?
And is there an option to send files through FTP ?
Thanks!

It is possible, but in this case you need separate domain licenses for all domains where you are going to upload. Quote:And is there an option to send files through FTP ? I am sorry that I have not answered on this question in my previous post. Image Uploader supports HTTP protocol only. |
