Hello,
We find out aurigma uploader (4.x) takes very very long time to generate "thumbnails" on MAC (for upload => smaller sizes images)
it is superslow and much much longer than on a pc
(with similar config) (both on Safari and Firefox)
Tested on a Macbook 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 1 GB memory (so a pretyy standrad config)

Hello, While using Image Uploader 4.x you could try to use different UploadTHumbnail1ResizeQuality property values. The speed with Medium and High varies greatly as different image processing libraries are used. In Image Uploader 5.x we removed one of these two libraries (the fastest one) because it was a reason of lots of memory problems. After that Mac problem reports became one of the most common posts in our forum. Thus we have created a special thumbnail generation case for Mac OS. It looks to be much better. This improvement is available starting from Image Uploader 5.1.1.0. You could try it too. |
