Does anyone have any advice for this?

Is it feasible?

I plan to allow users to upload via imageuploader, video files of up to 100mb - which will then be converted to FLV (not important how for this post)

On the videos which will come directly from digital cameras - will their be any advantage to Zip-ing them?

The point and shoot digital cameras tend to have very badly compressed videos.

How does imageuploader perform on such huge files?

Any experiences welcome.

Hello,

I have visited the specified site. As I understand there is an ASP.NET component which means this is a server-side processing. The files will be uploaded without compression to the server and then processed there. As for future Video Uploader functionality which is now just being discussed, video file processing will be made on the client side. The file will be resized, compressed, watermark will be added and then prepared file will be sent to the server. No server-side processing is needed in this case.

Sincerely yours,

Alex Makhov
