I have updated to the latest javaAppletVersion iu.javaAppletVersion = "5.0.40.0"; But I am still having this problem. Some client machines that have older versions of java installed are ok. My settings: Java Plug-in 1.6.0_05 Using JRE version 1.6.0_05 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM The upload panel freezes and cannot be canceled. No errors in tha java console

The problem seems to occur when you have the following combination. AdditionalFormName Custom send button (ShowButtons set to false) Progress event (mine submits a form if Status=="COMPLETE") Please could support confirm its possible to combine these 3 with the latest version of java in firefox.

Thanks Phildale! We use v4.6, and we set Custom send button "ShowButtons " to true, and now we can upload files. I hope support will fix this bug asap. Edited by user Monday, March 17, 2008 6:22:11 PM(UTC)

Hello, OK, I have JRE 1.6.0_05 installed on my testing machine. I have changed Image Uploader Optimized Upload sample adding custom button with the following code: Code:<a href="#" onclick="getImageUploader('ImageUploader1').Send();return false;">Send!</a>
There is a Progress event listener and AdditionalFormName property set in this sample thus I have repeated all your circumstances. First time it worked correctly but at the second time my Firefox hang. I will try to find the resolution of the problem tomorrow. |

Hello, I'm working on JRE 1.6.0_05 for about a week and can not reproduce the problem any more. Please, try to download Image Uploader 5.1.1.0 and check if the problem is still reproducable. If it is, please, send me the test page. |
