Hi,

This is more of a "what shall we do" question than anything else. The newest version of Opera on Mac OS X seems to still use the Java 1.3.1 VM. This is a versioning conflict with the Java used in the ImageUploader (Java.)

To recap, on a Mac running OS X, there are only two browsers that will show the ImageUploader applet. Safari will run the applet with no problem whatsoever. Firefox will run it if you install the Java embedded plugin from SourceForge. Has anybody successfully run it with any other browser on Mac OS X?

Thanks,

George

Hello,

Safari and Mozilla are the most commonly used browsers when using Image Uploader for Java on Mac.

BTW last Mozilla Firefox 1.5 works with Java 1.4 runtime out of the box. Tthere is no need to install additional plugins for this version.
