With the imageuploader tool, i know you can resize images.

But can you do more advance things like crop images?

Hello,

Crop functionality is not yet supported in Image Uploader. We have another product called Image Upload Wizard where you can select photo one by one, manually crop and resize it and then send it to the server. If you are interested feel free to write to sales@aurigma.com.

I think a way to automatically crop the image would be great!

Yes I know about your image editting tool, but that has to be done manually. I want the user to just upload and not worry about it.

A proper auto cropping would do a few calculations on the ratio, and trim the images in the center.

Hello,

The practice of Cropping tool usage shows that automatic cropping of an image using center-placed rectangle is not the best way. Lots of photos contain important parts in the upper or in the lower part of an image. So if you crop using centered rectange you will crop important part. It is not so difficult to implement auto-crop with centered rectangle. We did not do it before because it is not so usable. If you want this feature to be implemented as a custom feature feel free to write us to sales@aurigma.com.
