We currently have the Aurigma Image Loader 3.5 for Active X product which is used on our SQL server. We are facing a problem with one of our clients. When they log on to our website, the Image uploader Active X control downloads in IE 6.0 and the user installs it. This user who installs it has admin rights to the computer. The problem is that the image uploader screen is only available to users with admin rights to the computer. When users with ‘standard user rights’ log on, they are not able to view the image uploader. The user does not have rights to the image uploader active x control. Is there a way to make the uploader available for all users on the computer?

Hello, Browser will not install Image Uploader or any other controls if it is configured to deny ActiveX controls installation. There is now workaround as it is part Windows security system. In Intranet administrator can install Image Uploader to all computers using Image Uploader Windows Installer. Edited by user Sunday, February 24, 2008 7:21:01 PM(UTC)
