Hi,
We have a user that can't use ImageUploader 4.5., page is loaded, he has the mention “Applet com.aurigma.imageuploader.ImageUploader (1)” that appears in the bottom of his browser, but Java preload and ImageUploader don't appears...

his config :
- Mac OS 10.3.9
- Firefox 2.0.0.4
- Firewall : Intego NetBarrier X3 Version 10.3.7

We tried to solve the problem :
- Update his java module using this link : http://www.apple.com/sup...updateformacosx1039.html
- Empty FireFox cache folder
- Delete ImageUploader files contained in : "~/Library/Caches/Java/cache/javapi/v1.0/jar/"

And the problem is still unsolved...

We have other users under mac OS X, that don't have problem at all.

Anyone can tell me what to do next? i've got no more idea...
Thanks!
Seb.

Thanks,
i red all that but :
- Java Runtime Env. is correctly installed
- Java Applet are enabled in browser settings
- User is under Firefox 2.0.0.4, we have other users under Mac OSX / FF2, and ImageUploader works correctly for these users.

We've done another test with this user, we tried another image transfer applet (under java) and that worked properly....

If you need, you can see a screen capture here :

thanks,
Seb.

Hello,

And what does the Java console say? It looks like there is no JAVA at all or JAVA is disabled on your clients browser.
Sincerely yours,
Alex Makhov

We purchased the tool last week and we're having the same issue for Mac users in Firefox and Safari. It works fine for most, but so far I have 13 customers that cannot load the tool.

They are all running the latest version of Java and the latest version of OSX. I've had them all dump their cached browser files and they've dumped the cached Java files using the Java 1.4.2 Plugin app.

I'm not sure where to go next. I'm not as technical as most seem to be on this board, so how else can I diagnose what is happening?

Thanks,
Erick

Checking back in. We've got about 30 or so clients now who cannot load Image Uploader. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks: 1 times
Hey Alex,

We upgraded to 4.5.35 today and may I say that it is very fast to load on nearly all the browsers we tested! Well done!

The only small thing I found was in Mac (10.4.10) using FF (2.0) that when I went to upload images for the first time using 4.5.35 that the browser stopped with the message of "Applet com.aurigma.imageuplaoder.ImageUploader inited" in the bottom left hand corner. I waited about 5 minutes and nothing happened. So i hit refresh and all was great.

I've tried to duplicate this issue with the java console open however i can't (it all appears to be working fine). All I can think is maybe there is some conflict when you come to install 4.5.35 from a previous version??? Not sure but thought I'd let you know just in case there is something you can do about it......

Thanks again for a great upgrade.....
