Hello,

we've just bought a server licence of Media Processor (Order #: 5189, Order date: 3/19/2007). We are only using the InfoRetriever class in Microsoft .NET C#.

On my local Windows XP test system everything works perfectly, so we've bought your software.

Now after installing your software on the server we've encountered serious problems with your software. Media Processor gets the data (width, height, duration) of the first film correctly and crashes when processing the second film.

I've debugged our software, the crash occurs while calling the InfoRetreiver by "MEDIAPROCESSORLib.InfoRetriever retreiver = new MEDIAPROCESSORLib.InfoRetriever()". After that we have to restart the IIS web publishing service. The behaviour is reproducible on the server. The problem does not exist on my local system. The trial version has been removed on both systems and the full version has been installed.

I've found a similar unanswered post in this forum: http://www.aurigma.com/Forums/Topic3775-11-1.aspx

Is there any solution or hotfix to get rid of this problem?

Sincerely yours
Joerg Steinmueller

Hello,

It seems that it is codec specific problem.

If you are using ASP.NET as your website platform, try to download Graphics Mill for .NET: http://www.aurigma.com/Products...illdotNET/FreeTrial.aspx.

There is an additional module called Media Processor which can do the same. To check whether it will work with your codecs, run the MediaDemo sample application. If it is able to work with your files, it means that it will be fine for you. If you get some specific error message, please submit case.

Hello,

MediaDemo sample application of Graphics Mill for .NET works. But how does this help me? We don't want to buy another software from you, we just want to use our bought software "MediaProcessor".

Sincerely yours
