I'm evaluating the ActivX version, and am more than impressed! Could you give me your thoughts on this requirement. I need to distort one image to match another as closely as possible. As an example of the concept, assume I have two maps of the US from different sources. I want to overlay one on the other (transparently) to show a show how certain features match. The catch is that they are somewhat different in shape and size. I'd like the user to specify some common points that exist on each and then distort one to be reasonably close to the other. So the user might mark on each the tip of florida, the the NE corner of Maine, the NW corner of Washington state,.... you get the idea. More points would give a better fit. Is the reasonable? Could you suggest a general approach, if so? Thanks in advance.

Hi Nomlas, As far as I understand you want the user to specify something like a mesh and have Graphics Mill to warp the image according to this mesh. Unfortunately Graphics Mill does not have such feature. However it can perform projective transformation - in other words warp a rectangular image to an arbitrary non-convex quadrangle (e.g. trapezium). It is possible you could divide the image into several pieces, apply this transform to them separately according appropriate part of the mesh, and then glue them together. Hope this helps.
