I'm using the Java version of the uploader, and I'm wondering what extra settings I can add to for the uploader to load as fast as possible for users with large number of files using the Detailed List (not thumbnailed) view only.

Also, so the ActiveX version load up better than the Java version for IE?

Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Hello,

The next release of Java version will have partially resolve this issue. If you will set "FolderView" property to "List" (or "Details", or "Icons") Image Uploader shows folder content much faster.

That feature is not available in 4.1 then?

It was suggested in a similar thread that I started (http://www.aurigma.com/Forums/Topic5232-12-1.aspx) that it would be available for 4.1

Do you have a timescale for when this fix might be available, as at the moment, the Java uploader simply can't handle anything more than about 100 images, which renders it useless for my needs.

Thanks

This feature is available in ActiveX version only. The same optimization will be available in Java version on next week.

That's great, thanks for letting me know.

I take it the new version will be announced somewhere, or should I just keep checking the download section?

It won't be announced. So, just check the download section on Wednesday :)
