Every once in a while, the image uploader will not load due to the following error:

Code:
java.lang.InternalError: Unable to bind C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\::{450D8FBA-AD25-11D0-98A8-0800361B1103} to parent
	at sun.awt.shell.Win32ShellFolder2.getIShellFolder(Unknown Source)

	at com.aurigma.imageuploader.ImageUploader.init(Unknown Source)
	at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(Unknown Source)
	at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

If I restart Mozilla, the image uploader proceeds to load without any problems. Any ideas on what causes this? Any way to prevent it? Thanks...

Hello,

It is likely the inner problem of Java. What version of Image Uploader for Java do you use?
Sincerely yours,
Alex Makhov

Hello,

There is a known issue of File.getParent Java method which was not fixed yet as far as I know.
Also I have tried to reproduce the problem on my machine but failed. How can I reproduce the bug?
Sincerely yours,
Alex Makhov

I have not been able to consistently reproduce this bug. It seems to happen if the browser has been open for a long time, like 1-2 days. So, this is a known bug, but no solution? Where do I go from here? Thanks.

Hello,

I think that particular folder has been deleted and some exception occurred. Image Uploader for Java can not be signed to the file system changes notifications so such an error could occur. We have added this problem information to our bug tracking system and it will be fixed in the future.
Sincerely yours,
Alex Makhov

I don't believe that a deleted folder or change in the filesystem is the problem. I use the same image folder for testing purposes so there is no change to the filesystem that could cause this exception. Any idea when this bug might be addressed? Does Aurigma have a tracking system so customers can track the progress of a bug fix? Thanks.

Hello,

We have a bug tracking system but it is used only inside the company.
Unfortunately we can not reproduce your bug so please specify the steps to reproduce it and we will try to do our best to solve this problem.
Sincerely yours,
Alex Makhov

I still get this error frequently. The filesystem hasn't changed and it always works if I just restart the browser. I'm not sure how to create a reproducible test case for this bug. Any ideas or suggestions on where to start? Has there been any further investigation into this problem?

Hello,

There was a similar problem with another folder and we have fixed it. Please, download the last version from our server and check if the problem is still there.
Sincerely yours,
Alex Makhov
