Hello,

When I try to upload images using ImageUloader 4.0, I get the following message in a messagebox.
"Waiting for response from the server". It stops right there and nothing else happens.

This happens both in IE 6.0 and firefox.

I have checked my code several times and it seems ok to me. Attached is my code, please take
a look and help me out.

Thanks in advance.

I'm experiencing the same thing. I'm using the 2.0 framework and a project using the asp.net 2.0 membership provider.

Hello,

Is some authentication used on your sites? Little time ago we have fixed the problem when upload stopped uploading to the page with authentication needed. The fix will be available in the near release.
Sincerely yours,
Alex Makhov

Hi Alex,

No authentication is required on my site. This happens both on my ocal drive i.e localhost and when I test the application
on an intranet...

dscarl.

Then it has to be some error in your upload script. Try to upload to some simple upload processing page for example to the page which does nothing with the files being uploaded.

This Friday or Saturday.

Hello Alex,

You are right something might be wrong with my upload script.

Ok. I did a number of things and everything seems to be working fine.
Not sure what the exact problem was, but glad I got the issue fixed.

Thanks.
dscarl.

Have you tried to upload to the simple script? For example to empty ASP.NET page.
Best regards,

We have now bought the license an are ready to release our site. To our surprise when we downloaded a new evalutation version of FileUploader the same problem is still there. I can´t see any difference with the version now available with the one we tried in august. Is there some other place we should download the update. We really need a solution to this now, the clock is ticking...

Kind Regards Mikael

Hello,

Here is the link to the post with Image uploader helper scripts. You can use them to check what files are really uploaded to the server:
Image Uploader Helper Scripts.

Please, use it to check if the problem is on the server side.
Sincerely yours,
Alex Makhov
