How to Prolong Evaluation Version of ImageUploader 3.5

How do I prolong Evaluation Version of ImageUploader 3.5.

I have tried the following but to no avail...........

Overview

A trial version of Image Uploader v3.5 and above has limited evaluation period. When this period finishes, Image Uploader disables the user to upload any files and displays an error message which states that evaluation period is over.

Typically you have not less than one month to evaluate Image Uploader, and as usual it is enough to take a purchase decision. However it may happen before you fully evaluate Image Uploader, or when you are using an evaluation version for the development purposes. In this case you would like to know how to prolong the evaluation period. This article descibes how to do it.

Resolution

When Image Uploader stops uploading because of the end of evaluation period, follow these steps:

Close Internet Explorer with Image Uploader.

Download the file ResetIUEvaluationPeriod.zip.

Unzip it and run the file ResetIUEvaluationPeriod.reg by double click or from a command prompt.

Click Yes button on the message box which prompts whether you want to update the registry.

Download the most recent Image Uploader evaluation version and put it to your server. Do not forget to update it at the client side as described at the article Updating Image Uploader on the Client Side.

This way you will be able to continue working with Image Uploader until the evaluation period of the new version expires (1-2 months depending on the date you download it).

Note! If you have purchased Image Uploader and use an evaluation version for development, and if this solution is not acceptable to you, please contact us.

Yes, I believe I downloaded the latest version from your company's website.

The date on the ResetIUEvaluationPeriod.reg file is 5/4/2005.

Below are the most recent versions of ActiveX and JavaApplet versions I am using.....

iu.activeXControlVersion = "3.5,240,0"
iu.javaAppletVersion = "1.1.81.0"

I am currently in the process of converting to ImageUploader 4.0 but due to the fact that 4.0 causes I.E to continuously shut down, it borders me and I am waiting for the fix for this.
