How to stop ImageUploader 3.5 from Uploading Images when a condition is met

I want to be able to prevent a user from uploading any images without first selecting an item fromt the listbox. I am thinking that I need to use the ImageUploader.Stop or ImageUploader.Send . Please, can someone help asap. Thanks.

After listbox item selecting just enable upload button. See in attachment code sample (untested).
