When is version 4 due to be released? The last mention of it in the announcements section is from 8 months ago.

Hello everyone, I am sorry for large delay in release, that it is mostly because we have reworked our QA process and spent a lot of time on it. Image Uploader 4.0 for ActiveX is on final way for release now. Currently we have frozen API and working over samples and documentation. I think on next week the beta version will be avaiable finally, as well as varios screensots and full list of improvements will be published on our site. |

Hello, Image Uploader 4.0 is about 2 weeks before final release. It is 100% feature completed.The reference is 100% completed. We now work over samples and final testing. |

Will this version require to restart the computer once the user installs the ActiveX? I asked this because version 3,5,146,0 requires restart. Thanks.

Image Uploader itself is not the reason of restart request. Try to set the versions of Image Uploader for Java and Image Uploader for ActiveX right as it is in our samples: Code:iu.activeXControlVersion = "3,5,124,0";
iu.javaAppletVersion = "1.1.80.0";

Everytime we install Version 3,5,146,0 it comes up an "alert-message" requesting to restart the computer. This version is a the one that supports the "autorotate" feature. I just wanted to know if version 4 will include the "autorotate" and if the installation will prompt our users to restart their computers. Thanks A.
