When using the java applet on a Mac (in either Firefox or Safari), when ever you scroll the page, the applet flickers (or disappears completely). Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Hello,

While testing on Mac Os X I did not see such behavior. Try to set the last updates to your system, including JRE.
Sincerely yours,

Everything is updated on our system -- we're seeing it on multiple machines.

Are you scrolling the actual page or scrolling the contents of the applet? The problem is occurring when the applet is on a long page, and you scroll the page itself.

Hello,

I think it is a common behavior for all Java applets. Try to test this behavior with some another applet. Or may be it’s because of the browser.

We did some testing with other applets -- they always flicker in Firefox, but only yours flickered in Safari. Frustrating! But I guess we can live with it.

We have one other small issue -- on the Mac, when you have the applet in 3-pane mode, there are issues using the up/down scroll arrows in the right hand panes. Grabbing the scroll bar and moving it around is fine, but once you have done that, if you try to use the arrows to move the scroll bar up or down, they don't appear to work (or will only move a tiny bit, once). We've duplicated this on several machines. Can you test and confirm?

Hello,

We have added this issue to our bug tracking system and it will be fixed in the future releases. Thank you for the report.
Sincerely yours,
Alex Makhov
