Hi,

I am a VB6 developer and do lots of Document Imaging work.

I have read in this forum that GM is not able to display or save multi-page TIFF images. But, if am not wrong, it displays the first page from a multi-page TIFF. If it can do so, is there any way to load and display any one page at-a-time from the multi-page TIFF.

Eg: If i have a five page tiff, can I load and display only the third page?

If yes, how to do it? If no, can you suggest an alternative to do this?

Also i need a solution to save multi-page TIFF and PDF.

Finally, I am still wondering how could you leave out such a basic imaging requirement from your product!

Hello Jameel,

ActiveX version of the Graphics Mill allows reading only the first page. However in Graphics Mill for .NET you can both load arbitrary page of the multipage TIFF file and save multipage TIFF files.

As for PDF, both ActiveX and .NET version can save only the single page. However we are planning to add multiple pages for PDF into the .NET version.

So if migrating to Visual Basic .NET is ok to you, Graphics Mill for .NET would be a great solution.

Boy! I read in this forum that your replies are fast. Due to the difference in timezones (i guess it was night there when i posted this message) i was expecting to receive a reply hours later, not minutes.

Comming to the subject, I was half way thru my project when i came across your product. All ready got my client to pay for it too. Hence, please suggest a solution using ActiveX.

Also, I would appreciate if you could provide multipage feature in GM ActiveX as soon as possible. Because there are people out there, like me, who still use ActiveX.

Jameel Iqbal
