Signing the java applet to make it trusted

Hi, Is it possible to use this procedure: http://java.sun.com/j2se...r_guide/rsa_signing.html to sign the ImageUploader jar file so as to make it trusted by browsers? The security warning that pops up the first time someone uses ImageUploader is not exactly a deal-breaker, but we want to see if we can avoid that as well. Thanks

Hello,
We always sign ImageUploader.jar so there do not have to be security problems with browsers. Do you mean signing applet with your own certificate? |

Image Uploader Java applet is signed with Thawte certificate, which root is available on all modern browsers.
Security dialog will be displayed in any case, as Image Uploader needs to run out of the Java "sandbox" (access to local filesystem requires it). |
