Is there a maximum number of characters that the RedirectURL property can handle?
When I upload an image, the image is saved to the server but when it tries to redirect, the web application simply closes. It appears that the ImageUploader cannot handle a redirect URL of more than 202 characters.
This occurs using either the RedirectURL property of the Progress event.

I have since discovered that it is the post action URL in the form of the page that the ImageEditor control is on that was causing the problem. This was too long and caused the application to close.

Hello,
Which Image Uploader do you use? Java or ActiveX? There is a known issue with Image Uploader for Java when there are problems with RedirectUrl property when using LiveConnect. So we usually advice to avoid the setting of RedirectUrl property value while using Image Uploader for Java. |
