Hi All,
Did some searching but couldnt find any reports of if exif support will be coming to the java version soon. I have been a long time user of the activex uploader and deciding whether to buy the java uploader for the firefox and mac users out there. Problem is I need the date taken field from the exif to be either passed or written to the thumbnails since I dont upload the original file.
Is something like this in the works? Maybe part of java 1.1 version?

Hello, Support of EXIF will not be included in version 1.1 for Java, but we will work over it in post 1.1 release, which is scheduled for release in the middle of Fall. If you need it urgently, please contact with us at sales@aurigma.com. Edited by user Friday, May 23, 2008 2:55:54 PM(UTC)

heres looking forward to this feature, please keep me posted on how it progresses!!! Sound like just what I need. Of course I wouldnt mind paying for the development early if it was reasonable, or maybe a bunch of us who could use it could pitch in?
Nice work on this whole project Fedor, I have been very please with your attention to detail and skills.

Hey guys,
I was also wondering if the next version of the Java version would include this feature:
* Preview thumbnails are taken from EXIF if possible (extremely fast).
During my tests of the Java version using my Mac/Safari I found the thumb nails took alot longer too load compared to the active X version running on my Windows PC. I'm assuming this is because of this?
