Btw...I'm very close to using JUpload. The only piece which I feel reserved about is that I might have to make a few modifications to my handler script...but given the delay it might be worth it.

We worked all Friday till late evening over release, but there are some minor things to do for with final package.

Nevertheless Image Uploader Applet itself is stable finally, so everyone can contact with Aurigma at sales@aurigma.com to get it. You can use this version for production.

On Monday or Tuesday we will release final version.

Maybe it's a rolling Monday/Tuesday release...meaning they're going to release it on a Monday or a Tuesday. Just don't know when....

Will we be able to purchase this version or will it be a trial w/o a key? I have the beta version but have no way of using it because there's no way for me to get a key for it.

You can download release candidate version here:

ImageUploader10ForJava_RC.zip

This version includes all samples of ActiveX version migrated for using with Java version.

Now only samples for ASP.NET available, but as ActiveX and Java versions send data to the server in the same format, you can use server code from ActiveX samples.

Final version with all docs and samples will be finally available on this week.

Fedor Skvortsov

Although it isn't mentioned here, apparently the TwoPanes-layout just doesn't work for the Java-version of the ImageUploader.

Two questions about this:

1. Can we expect this to be fixed in the final release?

2. Are there other parameters that work for the ActiveX but don't work for the Java applet?

If yes, could you please provide a list of those?

Thanks for your speedy help.

Sorry, I have mentioned it before on forum.

1. Can we expect this to be fixed in the final release?

No, it will be available in version 1.1 only. We already work over it, but version 1.0 codebase is already frozen.

2. Are there other parameters that work for the ActiveX but don't work for the Java applet?

If yes, could you please provide a list of those

Sure. Here is final list of non-implemented parameters:
