I thought Image Uploader Java version (Beta) was going to be available last weekend, correct?

If I'm wrong, can you please tell us when is going to be available the Beta version?

Thanks for great support and product development!

We have delayed it a bit as Thawte delayed code-signing certificate delivering.

However we intend to release beta in the end of this week.

BTW, I just posted screenshots on Mac OS ;)

It looks great on MAC!

When you said the mac version is a "full featured", do you mena will have all the feaures of Image Uploader 3? Otherwise can you list the features?

We are dying to buy this version!

Thanks!

With "full featured" I mean that all planned features are already implemented.

Here are list of features which exist in Image Uploader 3, but willn't be implemented in first release of Java version:

# Automatically tracks changes in file system (folder content).
# Preview thumbnails are taken from EXIF if possible (extremely fast).
# Several layouts

Beta version will be available already on Thursday or Friday. It is already stable enough. The date of final release will be based on beta version customer feedbacks.

We're currently running the activex version of the image uploader. Have a few questions...

- Will the java version work the same as it does on Windows as it does on mac and linux?
- Are we eligible for an upgrade price if we switch from the activex version to the java version?

Really looking forward to this product...have been waiting anxiously for months :)

Unfortunately we still haven't released Java Edition beta version, but will do it in the nearest days.

- Will the java version work the same as it does on Windows as it does on mac and linux?

Yes, it wil have only minor platform specific differences in order to have native look and feel for specific OS.

- Are we eligible for an upgrade price if we switch from the activex version to the java version?

Yes, upgrade price will be $99 for Single Domain License and $499 Single IP License.

Really looking forward to this product...have been waiting anxiously for months :)

me too :)

Hello,

Just came across your product today and it looks very interesting - especially this new Java version. The question I have for you is, as we currently don't own a licence for this software, if we were to purchase the Active X version and you hypothetically release the Java client in 4 weeks - do we also have to pay the 'full' upgrade fee - or would there be some discount applicable on this upgrade fee because we had purchased the Active X version on the basis that the Java version would be soon released?

Thanks

Shawno

Image Uploader ActiveX Edition and Image Uploader Java Edition are separate software. However if you will purchase ActiveX edition, you can purchase Java Edition Domain License for just $99 instead of regular $149 price.

We recommend to support on web site both Java and ActiveX uploaders, as ActiveX runs only on Windows. On other Java uploader requires Sun Java 1.4 runtime, which is installed by default on Mac OS X only.

Dear Fedor and Andrew,

Do you have a precise date for the release of the Image Uploader Java version?

We and many other users have been waiting for this release since November last year...so we are kind of anxious about it.

Thanks! and please keep developing great software.

Hello,

We are going to release final version in first week of February. Image Uploader is completed now, we are working over documentation and compatibility with ActiveX version in order to minimize migration efforts.

Best regards,
Fedor Skvortsov
