We have just finished writing a web-based data entry tool that utilizes Image Uploader, and our users are quite pleased. They have identified an additional requirement that is not directly related to Image Uploader, but I couldn't find a better place to post it, so here goes: The users have another tool that generates images, but it has no way to output the images -- they have to take a screen capture (using print screen), save it as a file, and then upload it into the database, or place it somewhere to be processed. This is very time-consuming, and we would like a way to expedite this process via our web application. For example, an ActiveX control that could take the information on the clipboard, create an image, and upload it. Has Aurigma worked on anything similar, or do you have any suggestions as to how we might approach this? Or does anyone know of a tool that might help us?

Hello, We discussed feature about supporting clipboard operations with bitmaps, but decided to implement it after 3.5 release. Now Image Uploader supports clipboard operations with files only (not with bitmaps). If you need it urgnetly please contact with us at sales@aurigma.com. |
