We have a flash application that we would like to use with this activex component. Is there a way to embed this into the swf file?

Thanks,

Do you use standalone flash application or do you use it in webbrowser?

We are using it inside a browser but want it to be very nicely integrated. I guess we could open a child window and place the activex contol on that page.

What would be nicer would be if we could "poke a hole" in the flash swf and position the activex control in that space or maybe place the activex on it's own "floating" frame to make it look like it in that space.

Thanks,

I think we can overflow Flash with ActiveX via absolute positioning and so way get look of embedded ActiveX in Flash.

I will post sample here later today.

Unfortunately I was wrong in previous post. It isn't possible to do this task via absolute positioning. Flash Player and Image Uploader are both ActiveX controls, and we can't specify for them Z-order, so they are always on top of layout. On other side we can't specify which of controls is on more top level then other.

I think the best way to use Image Uploader with Flash is to include them on page via HTML tables and just surrond Image Uploader with flash.
