Is there a newer version planned for this? Or at least a recommendation for another component that can accurately read the duration of MP3 files, incl. VBR support?

Thanks.

Media Processor has problems with dynamic bitrate compressed MP3 files, however we have already new .NET version with correct behaviour. Now we use this component internally in our Media Gallery product (is not available separately), however we plan to release it as seprate product at Autumn 2004.

Was there ever a plan to upgrade the dll version to correct this problem? We are not able to move to .net at the moment, and I am getting a number of customer complaints about the inaccuracies.

You indicated that there is a .net version - what is the cost to upgrade to it?
