I need help! Usually the picture gallery works well. The problem is that the computer of a costumer of me does not creates thumbnails. Instead of thumbnails it creates some symbols. You can see them on the following gallery-site: http://www.shakesbier.at...lery.asp?path=Jaenner04/

Does anybody know this problem? It must be something wrong with the computer, or not?

Please help me!

Picture Gallery created a file icon when it failed to recognize the file as image. Is Picture Processor component installed on the customer's computer?

Besides, I noticed that files in other folders are displayed ok. Did they uploaded on yours computer or on the customer's one?

hello andrew! thanks for your answer!

>Is Picture Processor component installed on the customer's computer?

I do not think so. What is the picture processor?

The problem only arises on the customer’s computer. On every other computer it works well. The files in the other folders are uploaded by another computer so the displayed ok.

Picture Processor is an ActiveX component which generates thumbnails. It is distributed along with Picture Gallery Pro files. It is a conPictureProcessor.dll file which should be registered using regsvr32 utility (as described in installation guide of the Picture Gallery).

So check if such file exists on customer's computer (you can find it in the Picture Gallery Pro distributive) and if so, register it executing

regsvr32 conPictureProcessor.dll

in the command prompt.

Please let me know if you have some problems with it.
