I'm looking at allowing my users to upload TIF files, but have noticed a couple of things.
I'm only using 8 bit TIFF's
1. Two TIFF files, one with LZW compression and one with no compression, do not display on thumbnail screen.
2. When Uploading, it appears that uploader can not generate JPEG thumbnails from the files. This is my more serious concern as my application can only handle JPEG's currently. I was hoping the Uploader would do the translation for me, but it does not appear to do that. This means that when uploading Tiff's, I will have to upload the Source file, not just the thumbnail.
Once uploaded, I will use Graphics Mill to convert to JPEG.
Is my understanding correct on this point?

Hello Tom,
I am sorry for delay. Upcoming Image Uploader 3.0 will handle and convert TIFF images perefectly. It will be available on next week.
