The users that have installed OS X Mavericks cannot upload anymore. Do you have a solution in the works to resolve this issue?

Thank you

L.

I believe it has something to do with the latest Java update, not MacOSX update.

What uploader and Java version you use? The simplest way to find it out is to check out the Java console log.

Java version - must be at least 7.0_45

The Java version is displayed in the header of the log, like this:

Java Plug-in 10.45.2.18

Using JRE version 1.7.0_45-b18 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM

If you have earlier version, it is necessary to update Java. If users have problems with it, just tell them to go to http://www.java.com/verify, click big red button and follow further instructions.

Uploader version - must be at least 8.0.52

The uploader version is written to the log as soon as it is loaded. It looks like this:

Aurigma Upload Suite: version: 8.0.52.0

Aurigma Upload Suite: build date: 2013/10/22

If you have an earlier version, you should update it. Find 8.0.52 in the list of Upload Suite versions and download it (provided that you have an active maintenance subscription).

If you still have problems, please make a support ticket with full description of the problem with screenshots/Java console logs and if possible, a link to the problem page.

Developers just told me that there is a problem with the latest Safari indeed. Now they prevent the applet to access the file system until the user adds the website where Java applet is loaded to the white list. They can do it on the Safari Preferences -> Security tab.

Since there aren't detailed instructions already posted for those who use Aurigma Upload Suite to upload files on websites they use, here's a ZIP file with a PDF with detailed instructions.

Many thanks for the PDF file! Much appreciated!

We are currently working on the instruction for end users (Troubleshooting for End Users section). We will also want to display these instructions in the applet itself if it fails to access the file settings.

If you can use any of my PDF file, either verbiage, screen shots or both, or it looks good, feel free to publish it for end-users. That's why I went ahead and made it.
