Hello,
we are working on a website that using the Aurigma Image Uploader and am trying to script some performance tests and not having much luck.
Does anyone have any recommendations how we can induce load and stress against the image uploader?

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Aurigma team could you please provide some guidance on how you would recommend performance testing the image uploader? We are looking to put this in place to allow our users to upload images and we are looking at upwards of a millions photos a month coming through this tool.

Thanks much for your reply,
Alex

Hello Alex,

Sorry for a long delay. This is the first such question.

Amount of upload data - this is the only thing which could be used for Image Uploader performance testing (if upload time serves as a main performance criterion). Unfortunately there is no way to add upload files from script due to security reasons, so you can’t script such test. But you can make a checklist for testing Image Uploader features which are the most important for your site functionality and use it manually when needed.
