I have the link with the setting videoMode=lowquality in it but it still does not seem to be compressing video file right down.
Do you know what could be teh cause of this as currently we are having to suggest to users to download free app "video compressor" from the app store and compress their video files by 90% prior to uploading via aurigma up.
thanks

Hi Matthew,
Could you please provide me with the link to your Aurigma Up page so I can test it myself? Also please specify what exact version of iOS you have on your device. |

Hi Matthew, As you can read in our Getting Started Guide Aurigma Up works in the following way: Your user opens your site in Safari on his iOS device. On one of your pages he sees the link "Upload" or something like this.Once he clicks on it, Aurigma Up app is launched on his devise. He uploads his video in "low" mode, but it is not compressed for some reasons.
What I want to do is to become your user for a while and try to upload my video to your server.
Since we have tested Aurigma Up in our testing lab multiple times on multiple devises and got no problems with compressing uploaded video, I should investigate why the video is not compressed in your case.
Please provide me with the link to your site so I can test it just like your users do. Alternatively you can provide me with complete sample which can be run in our testing lab. Hope you will find it reasonable.Edited by user Wednesday, March 21, 2012 2:16:26 AM(UTC)

we got the user to test again and they were uploading a file that was already compressed.
when they reshot a new clip and uploaded the compression did work and bring the file size down dramatically.
thanks
