ImageUploader suddenly gives "some server-side error occurred" msg

I am using ImageUploader version 5.5.6.0 with Classic ASP and it just started giving me the "some server-side error occurred" message when doing an upload. Any ideas? Is it possible that a change has occurred on the server for file or folder permissions that would cause this. If so, what permissions should be granted on the server?
