Video only, remove need for location services and other feature requests

Four important feature requests from our perspective would be: 1) Don't force the enabling of location services given it's not needed for the upload of photos and videos (some end users turn this off for privacy reasons and it raises concerns unnecessarily) 2) Allow the selection of video only, not just video and photo 3) Allow a quantity limit to be specified (e.g. max of 4 photos / max 1 video). Once the max is hit, send the user back to the web app. 4) Automate some way to generate an API key for new domains (critical for dynamic apps) So far, it's a great product. We are looking forward to the internationalization release (we need French and Spanish versions as a priority). Image resizing is coming, that's great. What else is planned for Q2/Q3? Hello Phil, Quote: 1) Don't force the enabling of location services given it's not needed for the upload of photos and videos (some end users turn this off for privacy reasons and it raises concerns unnecessarily) We have not been able to find a way to work it around. iOS requires location services to get access to the photo library. Quote:2) Allow the selection of video only, not just video and photo Quote: 3) Allow a quantity limit to be specified (e.g. max of 4 photos / max 1 video). Once the max is hit, send the user back to the web app. Will put that down on a “to do list”. We are working on an Android version now. Our major is to expand the solution to the most popular mobile platforms. |

Thanks.
A standard HTML file upload form element, when seen in the Android Browser, already allows for selection from the photo library and/or to take a photo/video. What will Aurigma Up for Android add to that?

Neither mobile Google nor Opera do not allow creating a sophisticated upload tool. Just a file upload form element, nothing more. Our upload solution will be an application where you can select files for upload/take new photos using the standard Android dialog. |

I see. Makes sense. Will the same license key work across all versions of Aurigma Up?
With regard to widespread access, is Aurigma up available in all international App Stores for iOS now?

Quote:I see. Makes sense. Will the same license key work across all versions of Aurigma Up? Aurigma Up iOS and Aurigma Up Android will be a single product. A license key will be the same. Quote:With regard to widespread access, is Aurigma up available in all international App Stores for iOS now? It should be available. If you have any problem, please let us know. |
