I am sitting here trying to post photos with Aurigma Up (v1.2) to i.aurigma.com demo from both my IPad 2 (iOS 5.0.1) and my new iPod Touch (iOS 5.0.1) and I'm having weird issues.

1. If I simply upload images from my gallery on the devices, it works every time on both devices. Progress bar says something like 280.4 kb and functions properly throughout the upload.
2. If I try to Add one New Photo, it usually fails on both devices. The progress bar starts out with something like 889 BYTES, which is basically empty, and then immediately progresses to your redirect URL, but no image shows up.
3. If I try to add 2 or more New Photos it fails almost every time on both devices. 1.24 kb, and a quick redirect to confirmation page with no photos.
4. If I try a combination of one From Gallery, and one New Photo (in that order) it is failing every time on both devices. The progress bar starts out at 1.24 kb when I try this, then the quick redirect with no photos.
4. Trying a combination of one New Photo, and one From Gallery (in that order) seems to be working quite regularly. Very weird.

One detail worth noting. I ALWAYS click proceed and go back to your demo to relaunch the app. I think this gives the most accurate and repeatable series of events for you guys to look into.

I should note that it doesn't matter if I use a WIFI connection or 3G data connection, same results. Killing and restarting the app doesn't matter either.

I'm stumped, what could be the problem with this app? I just downloaded it to both devices today.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I appreciate the feedback. We are receiving error reports from users who are experiencing similar issues to me using the AurigmaUP tool. Please keep me informed on the progress of the fix. Do you guys have an eta for that?

We're seeing the same problem with uploads of New Photos to our site (using Aurigma Up v1.2), but also not every time. I just got a report from my colleague that it was failing as described by the original poster (on an iPhone with iOS 5.01, over 3G), but I was able to upload (both 1 and 2 "new photos" worked) just now (iPad with iOS 5.01 over wi-fi).

Hello Chris,

Thanks for this report. Yes our tests showed that the problem occurs from time to time (in 80% (sometimes more) of cases). Our engineers are working on it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Dmitry,

Any updates regarding this issue? Are the developers any closer to a resolution?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hello Jeff,

Unfortunately, all of our developers were busy on fixing Image Uploader.

Now they are working on issues of Aurigma Up. We will plan to release it in the second quarter of 2012. I will keep you informed about the progress.

Please fix this soon. AurigmaUp has been almost useless for the 5 months since iOS 5.0.1 came out.

Please at least post a sticky for this on the forum so
a) others like myself don't waste days investigating it at their end
b) you don't end up with the issue being posted again and again by others (I've read four posts all reporting this issue).

By being this slow to fix this, you are discouraging me from buying any of your other products.
