Hello,

We use image uploader version 6 - java applet 6.5.6.0. Occasionally a user will report that they get sent back to the image uploader page after an upload completes. Checking through some custom error logging I noticed that $_POST["FileCount"] (using a LAMP box) is empty so no processing of files happens and they get kicked out. I do also check count($_FILES) and notice that is set correctly.

So why would $_POST["FileCount"] be empty - could other problems be happening too? It's with a variety of browsers and version.

Thanks for any help.

Hello Justin,

I checked the previous support tickets, and the change log of our bug system. However, I could not find the similar problems with empty FileCount field. I assume if the problem takes place before, other our clients would contact us.

Nevertheless, let’s to investigate and try to resolve it :)

First, I recommend you to update your version of Image Uploader to the v6.5.19. It is the last update of Image Uploader 6. It is free of many issues. You can download it from our site.

Then test it, and if the problem persist, please provide me with a link to your site (login/password if any) where your users experience it. In case you do not want to post this data, you are able to submit a new support ticket.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,

Hi guys.

I'd like to know if this worked. We are experiencing the exact same problem here.

Best regards,

The company I work for has the same issue. We are a C# / ASP.NET shop and we get users on occasion that will have "FileCount" being empty.

After looking around these forms, I found

http://forums.aurigma.co...th-Dundas-AspUpload.aspx

Could the problem be that our users upload is not finished, but the aurigma control posted data to our processing page?

Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

Specifics:

various browsers

Aurigma.ImageUploader v6.5.19.27902

Hello,

The article you found is related to classic ASP platform.

Could you please provide me with URL to your page (login/password if necessary) with Image Uploader? You are able to share login information submitting a new support ticket.
