Hi
We would like to upload the source image and 3 downsized thumbnails. It seems we can only upload 2 downsized thumbnails because the uploader has a converter limit of 3 (including the source image).
Would it be possible to increase this limit to 4 or more?
We currently store over 400 million high-res images and people are uploading up to 20 images a second to our servers, so we don't really want to do the thumbing on our servers if it can be done client side :) Much more scalable :)

Hello Øyvind, Unfortunately, Image Uploader Flash has a restriction on count of converters (maximum 3), and does not allow to upload more than three converters of files. If you want to send four and more converters, you will need to use Image Uploader 7 Dual. It has no restrictions. Please feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions. |

Yes we're already using that, but we want to have multiple uploaders available in multiple technologies, so that our customers can choose the one that works best for them.

I see, Øyvind. However, Flash Uploader cannot upload more than 3 converters. |

Now that there's a new version with html5, can the uploader have more than 3 converters?

Flash uploader supports more than 3 converters starting from version 8.0.32. HTML5 uploader still has that restriction and there is no way to remove it due to technical limitations of web browsers. So, if you want to set up more than 3 converters in HTML5/Flash uploader, you should disable HTML5 support. |
