Hi There,

I have a small problem with Aurigma Image Uploader Activex Version. I want to set DeleteUploadedFiles as true. Although it deletes the files when user logs in as administrator, but for normal users in active directory shows a popup to put in administrative Username and Password.

My Control version is 6,1,1,0

Any help on this issue appreciated

Hello Dinesh,

Thanks for details.

Since your user does not have administrator rights, he or she is not able to delete files. I can suggest that this user cannot delete files using pure file manager. To resolve this problem, you should set DeleteUploadedFiles property to false value, or provide users with the administrator rights.

Hi Dmitry,

The user is able to delete the files through windows becuase they are in his 'My Documents' folder. So User has enough previleges for deleting that file or files in other folders.

Its just when this control comes into picture, Vista asks for adminstrative username and password. Does this control use a particular Username, which can be set by me as adminstrator, which will then be able to delete files.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, Image Uploader does not have this feature.
