Hi, Is it possible to use the setHashAlgorithm with Amazon S3 uploads? I have tried but I get an error: 'Invalid according to Policy: Extra input fields: hashcodesha_1' If it's not possible what validation is available for S3 uploads? many thanks.

Hello, Hash algorithm is used to avoid duplicate files on the server side. On the other hand, it can be used to determine the corruption of uploaded files. Please could you explain for what purpose do you want to use setHashAlgorithm property? Looking forward to your reply. |

Hello, Unfortunately, you are not able to use setHashAlgorithm property with Amazon S3 uploads because it will be impossible to get hash value on the server side (in the case with Amazon). I have found "Check data integrity" post on Amazon site. You can read it. However, this functionality is not supported yet. We will try to fix it in the near future. I will keep you informed. |
