I am facing with this problem in Aurigma.

I tried to upload files in shops.st701.com.

So far only a few times it failed my upload but why is it so unstable?

Anyone expert can help me?

Hello Felix,

Could you provide me with the additional details on your problem? Please let me know:
  1. in what types of browsers (with the exact version number) you experience the problem?
  2. the used Image Uploader and its version number.
Looking forward to reply from you.

Regards,

Hi,

We're using version 5.2.0.4.0.

So far it happens more frequent on firefox.

While public user are facing with default error because they couldn't upload.

Upon checking some of them are uploading large files with large quantities, say 10 x 2 MB on average.

My question is how does Aurigma works in terms of concurent uploading and do they queue image uploading so some people on the other end waited too long and trigger an error?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Arch

Hello Arch,

The specified version of the uploader is too old. I would recommend you to consider upgrading to the most recent version of the product. The current version, in comparison with your version, has a lot of improvements and bug fixes.

As concerning the problem with uploads on your site - unfortunately it is hard to say what causes the problem not seeing the exact error message. As far as I understand the problem can be reproduced with both Java and ActiveX versions. Correct? If so, could you give me content of Java console and screenshot of the uploader after the problem occurred.

At this moment we support concurrent uploads (uploading in multiple threads) in Image Uploader ActiveX only, however this feature will be removed in the next Image Uploader 7. Our tests indicate that uploading files in multiple requests do not give any benefit but make internal logic more complicated.
Sincerely yours,
Dmitry Sevostyanov
