Getting image IPTC or EXIF Properties upon selecting it

Hello,
We're building a website for a client and althjough we know how to extract IPTC information from an uploaded image when the image has reached the server, we'd like to populate a series of textboxes with the relevant info as soon as an image is selected, or fill the textboxes with generic values if more than one is selected.
Is it possible to extract an image's properties client-side, as soon as a user selects it?

Tarak, Thanks for taking interest in our software. Image Uploader allows two things regarding to EXIF/IPTC metadata. You can copy these data to generated thumbnails and also you can extract it client-side and send it along with the files. Unfortunately Image Uploader does not expose any API allowing getting values from EXIF/IPTC in client script. If you have any questions, please let me know.
